A month ago, agents from ASME partook in two uncommon occasions in Glasgow, Scotland, which were held related to the International Conference on Ocean, Offshore Arctic Engineering (OMAE): a roundtable conversation on understudy and early profession activities co-facilitated with the United Kingdoms Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and an ASME Connect meet-and-welcome with understudies from the University of Strathclyde. During the ASME/IMechE Roundtable Event, which occurred June 10 at the Scottish Events Campus, ASME Executive Director/CEO Tom Costabile and Board of Governors part Stuart Cameron met with IMechE President Joe McGeough and individuals from IMechE and ASME from the neighborhood talk about various themes, including key regions for future coordinated effort between the two associations, the different understudy and early vocation exercises and projects offered by ASME and IMechE, and the advantages that participation in proficient social orders like ASME and IMechE can give youthful architects. Prior that day, Costabile, Cameron, Nash and Alayon visited the University of Strathclyde, where they were given a voyage through the grounds and took an interest in an ASME Connect understudy outreach occasion.
